Starting in December, I'll be posting one new stitch pattern every month and making two blocks in that pattern. By next December 2018, we'll have twenty-four blocks ready to be pressed and joined into an afghan!
These are the yarns I'm using for the 2018 Vintage Vixen Crochet-a-long!
These are listed as two different patterns on Ravelry, to make them easier to find under "Hat" and "Scarf", respectively. I designed them as my own cozy winter wear! Both projects use the same yarn and the same decorative jewel stitch, an adaptation of the classic filet stitch.
While I usually make new neices and nephews each a baby quilt, it is wonderful to have these easy baby gifts on hand to give to co-workers and acquaintances! A baby can never have too many blankets.
Per special request, this November I will be teaching a delightful trios of sisters how to make a simple striped scarf out of Malabrigo Mecha yarn.
